When I train new Business Designers, I often cite the talk that inspired my journey, "$X" by Kwame Nyanning (2016–17). Which is a good non-bullshit way of talking about what we do.
- "Value at Stake" = Dollar Experience ($X) = Customer Experience (CX) x Transactional Volume = Union(Desirability, Viability, Feasibility).
- Shared Consensus over "Pattern Languages" syncs service and business priorities.
- The ability to take on new risks and identify new kinds of opportunity.
- Forcing the Ecosystem (or, building the market/category).
